Having done a previous 2 years of part time dog walking and pet sitting for locals while working in the Barna pet shop in Galway. . .We have an excellent reputation for being a friendly and trustworthy service and have had a very successful few years in business.
Lucy herself has had a lifetime of experience with animals, especially dogs. “We always had a dog at home when I was growing up, you can’t beat the love of a dog. . .I have 2 dogs of my own,both are rescues.There’s Hogan who is a bearded collie cross and also little Penny, a Yorkshire Terrier”. Daily walks will help with behavioural problems as it reduced stress and released excess energy. . .For over weight dogs with the combination of new diet and excerise , daily walks will help in weight loss and build muscle tone. . . Walking has also been known to improve and regulate bowel movement. . .With our group walks your dog gets important socialisation which has proven very beneficial to our clients that have had their dogs with us from very young.Unfortunately we can not take dogs with aggressive behaviour. . .This walk also lets your dog become part of a pack which is so natural for most dogs.Our dogs just love to see their pals coming in our little white van. . .We would mostly bring Barkin Mad doggie’s to the Barna or Furbo bog and always to Rusheen Bay and woods,for a fun packed walk. . .We can not guarantee that your doggie will be as clean as a whistle when they return but we try our best as most dogs love to get dirty.We will give them a good towel dry before getting back home. We will visit your pet either once or twice a day. . .We do daily feeds ,put fresh water down, walk, towel dry(if needed),change litter trays, lots of TLC and for extra security while your away we’ll open and close curtains, turn on/off lights, bring in/out bins and collect mail. We have experience with cats, fish, rabbits , guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, donkeys, ducks, hens, turtles, birds and of course our most popular . . . dogs.
